The Hog Machine Monster Truck out of Henagar, Alabama at one of the last shows Ed Beckley helped put on before going solo under the name of Checkered Flag Productions!

 

                                                                                                   

 

 

Winfield, Kansas - August 1985.

 

This is from Ed Beckley's/Checkered Flag Productions' FIRST Monster Truck Show, from Ed's (then) home state of Kansas.  The CFP office was then located in Dodge City, KS, and the event was a Mud Bog and Monster Truck car crush at the Winfield, KS Fair.

 

Pictured is Blaine Barr and his RAM TUFF Monster Truck from Great Bend, KS.  RAM TUFF was a tractor-tired, carbureted gasoline and nitrous powered (see the bottle in the bed?) 440 Dodge pick-up Monster Truck!

 

The crowd on hand that day was SOLD OUT/standing room only...and all to think it was 103° F. that day!
