Checkered Flag Productions, or CFP for short, is a company that is ran by Beckley's Checkered Flag Productions, Inc., a Texas based and licensed corporation.

The President of the Corporation is Ed Beckley.

The Beckley's have been involved in Motorsports for over 30 years.  Ed first became involved in promotion by being a Motorcycle Stuntman and gained National Publicity with him being the WORLD'S LARGEST MOTORCYCLE JUMPER.  Ed weighed over 300 pounds and the motorcycles he jumped he outweighed.  When Ed decided to improve the show, he added a passenger on the motorcycle. As they traveled around performing at race tracks and drag strips all over the United States they studied the promotion business and decided that was for them.  They got off the road for a time while they ran a Sprint Car and Stock Car track in Dodge City, Kansas.  While running the track in the summer time they would do their motorcycle jumping at indoor tractor pulls.  At these indoor tractor pulls they saw the tremendous crowds and decided this was for them.  So off to promote indoor events as well as the race track kept them busy.  Checkered Flag Productions started with about 17 events nights a year and soon rose to nearly 90 event nights a year.

The Beckley's then saw the need to get to an Airport of size as they were flying to about 30 different cities a year.  In search for a good airport and a place to raise their son Scotty they ventured to Texas and found the sleepy little town of Bridgeport.  Bridgeport is less than 4,000 population but is only about 40 minutes away from the Dallas/Ft. Worth Airport and has great schools.  So in 1995 the Beckley's moved their entire operation to Texas.  There they built a new office on the acreage they purchased with the home and began running their company and it has been a successful business endeavor but of course with challenges.

CFP's mission is to put on a “Safe, Exciting, Enjoyable, Family Show”, or a “SEEF Show” as Ed calls it, only he pronounces it ‘safe’.

CFP business day is mostly made up of total production of ticketed Motorsports events and they have also done concerts and rodeo's.

CFP Advertising is an in-house Advertising Agency that has also done work for several other clients including motorcycle shops.

CFP has it's own art department with graphic arts and also writes and produces their own television commercials.  No video is for sale as CFP will not license any of it's footage to be used by outside sources.

New for 2006, CFP’s new website is designed and maintained by Brian Stellabotte; who is better known for his personal website Monster Truck Central (on the web @ www.monstertruckcentral.com).  Brian is no stranger to the Monster Truck community, and is excited to be on board with Ed Beckley's Checkered Flag Productions for 2006 and beyond.

CFP has done business for many top venues and State Fairs in the United States and Canada.
